Derek Wilson and Lorena Langstaff began tying together in 2017. Since that time, these two have been sharing their passion, knowledge, and experience with Rope in hopes of bringing this versatile and beautiful artform into more accessible, mainstream spaces.

They believe that Rope should be adaptable to ALL participants, that rope is not just for everybody that wants to do rope, but every body as well. They have both dedicated years of their practice to adapting ties for various health considerations, experience levels, body types, and more. With the support of their talented rope family and a combined committment to continual education and self-improvement, Sacred Ties Rope is able to offer a wide variety of classes, workshops, events, performances, and more.

From beginner levels to advanced, and everything in between, Derek and Lorena ensure that Sacred Ties Rope is able to provide education and fun for all rope enthusiasts throught Alberta.
